I’m guilty of it too, I am. But every single campaign I run, the players always end up taming some sort of creature that they were NOT meant to end up with. Always something I thought they’d kill outright. But they always acquire it fair and square so who am I to tell them no? I’m a “yes” kind of GM, anyway.
That’s the best kind of GM! One’s who are unable to adapt to their player’s ridiculous antics are doomed to fail.
