This concept came to mind recently and I wanted to share the sentiment in comic form. Parents, it’s okay to be yourselves. It’s okay to have hobbies. I hope this is reassuring to even one person.
I love my son with my entire heart and put him first but I shouldn’t be expected to abandon things that make me happy outside of parenting and neither should you, so long as you’re still able to be the best parent you can.
